As a self-employed web-developer I provide consultation, coding and implementation for new websites, as well as competitively priced overhauls of existing websites.

I have also been working to form a small games company, continuing my studies in mathematics, learning new software and programming languages, and developing a 3D Rendering engine called Soft Light.

Some of my self-employed contracts have involved a return to Tectonics Ltd., where I resumed some of my old duties and helped them to scale down since the financial crash of 2008.

September 2006 to November 2008 - Tectonics Ltd, Alton

Working in a small IT department providing support for 80 users. Design and implementation of an SQL database and a browser-based interface in PHP and AJAX, for a bespoke ERP solution. Acquired full responsibility for the maintenance of the CAD/CAM programs controlling the CNC machines on the production line.

Provided all the company's IT requirements in-house. Consolidated skills in hardware support, network engineering and Linux/Windows workstation installation in a networked environment, all of which frequently depend on strong analytic problem solving.

Many opportunities for innovation with graphics and image manipulation. These ranged from image processing in PHP, for a document management system, to providing mathematically advanced solutions for the CNC manufacture of bespoke products. Provided a highly original solution for image compositing on the web.
